This September, I’m inviting 21 businesses to help the stories of 21 Indigenous women reach even further.
With Grace and Grit, Volume 2 was never meant to simply sit on a shelf. It was created to be read, shared, and to open the door to meaningful conversation.
In recognition of Truth & Reconciliation Day, I created 21 × 21 to help these stories travel even further through workplaces, communities, and the people within them.
Every book shared is another opportunity for someone to listen, learn, connect, and carry the conversation forward.

If you know me, you know people are at the center of pretty much everything I do.
I’ve always loved connecting people, opening doors, starting conversations and creating spaces where people feel seen and heard.
HIVE Connections Publishing grew naturally from that.
Stories have a way of creating ripples. When we share what we’ve lived, learned and figured out along the way, those stories can create connection, shift perspective and remind someone else they aren’t alone.

With Grace and Grit, Volume 2: Indigenous Women in Business With Grace and Grit, Volume 2: Indigenous Women in Business brings together the first-voice stories of 21 Indigenous women entrepreneurs from across Atlantic Canada. These women share their experiences in their own words and on their own terms—the businesses they have built, the communities they serve, the barriers they have encountered, the lessons they have learned, and the opportunities they continue to create. This is not one story of Indigenous entrepreneurship. It is 21 women with different businesses, different experiences, different perspectives and different stories to tell. The invitation is simple: listen. Then get curious. Discover their businesses. Learn more about the women behind them. Reach out. Buy from them. Hire them. Invite them into rooms and conversations. Share their stories with someone else. Because publishing these stories was never meant to be the finish line. What happens after someone reads them matters too. Representation builds trust.
