Loving life at 60
Donna shares how much she loves her life. Donna tells the power of her Mom's influence in creating a new future and supporting Donna in stopping the cycle of abuse. Donna's family lived a life of abuse and addiction. She knows first hand that finding the support of someone who understands. Donna reached out to Second Story Women's Centre in Lunenburg, NS and mental health and addiction services, and credits their support for stopping the cycle of violence.
Donna is an advocate to support those who need a voice. Those who are struggling with family concerns.
Donna speaks so warmly of her love for her Mom! The things her mother overcame. The life her mother lived. Donna says that it has not been an easy road to travel, but each and every tear has helped her on her journey.
Donna is looking at a healthier life moving forward. After having a mini stroke 4 years ago, she has a new value of her own health. With the support of her boys and her Mom, Donna has a new lease on life, and is proud to say she is training for a half marathon.
Donna knows from her work with entrepreneurs the power of goal setting, using the entrepreneurial decision making cycle as provided by the Acadia Entrepreneurship Centre to help continue moving forward. She is looking at herself in a respect to moving forward and understands it is a PROCESS.
Donna LOVES her life,, and shares that in order to love others it starts with loving yourself.
