Which one of these brains might have the answer to cancer??
Marina is a energetic, enthusiastic and passionate educator. She has retired from her full time career and works as a supply administrator.
Marina is excited to be part of the board of directors of the STEM Camp Foundation. This is an opportunity for kids across Ontario to learn more about Science, Technology, Engineering and Math in a hands on experience.
As a life long learner Marina believes that in 2019 we need problem solvers to change the future. Marina believes that the journey of education and how to use the knowledge of science, technology, engineering and math in every day practical applications. It is no longer traditional vs non-traditional it is about solving problems, tinkering and figuring out solutions. The common language of problem solving is not gender based, not language based, it is about hands on application through optimism and endurance.
Every brain is different, and being part of the journey to discovery is a privilege. Marina wonders as she works with children which one of these brains could have the answer to cancer.
Marina shares her admiration for educators who offer support to children, the power of teaching. Modeling empowerment is the best way encourage our young people to be empowered. Be kind to one another.
