I am at home every where and no where.
Khairunnisa (Inda as her nick name) shares her passion for following what lights up her spirit. She was born in Indonesia and has lived in 6 different countries around the world. Inda is currently calling Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada home. Inda believes that her life has been shaped by all of the places she has lived and visited.
Inda shares her passion to help people connect. She has started an organization with friends called Woven Cultures The idea behind this organization is to support cultural inclusion and diversity. Inda has learned by example from a family that has given in service. She believes it is her responsiblity to give the gifts of her talents to others. She came to Canada on a scholarship and understands the privledged life she lives, but the opportunity is not something she takes for granted, she is paying it forward to support others.
Inda enjoys the volunteer culture in her community of Moncton. She has created opportunities through Woven Cultures to have workshops and presentions to help address cross cultural differences. Things that may lead to conflict simply because of the different definitions of cultural respect.
Inda has a dream of a boarderless world, where we are citizens of the world. If you move away from your home you learn, grow and change, you don't loose who you are at heart.
Inda works as a business journalist at Huddle Today, be sure to check out what is up and coming in her stories.
